Godliness with contentment

No body wants to be bankrupt in his/her business. Gaining good results from whatever we have invested on is our high priority. In order to maximize their profits or be successful, some compromise their moral values, acceptable ethics, fear of God, caring for customers, and they use any opportunity to exploit others. To promote their self-interest, some destroy other people’s reputation and business.

But is that what God wants? Do we need godliness for our success? Our today’s verse answers:
“Of course, godliness with contentment does bring a great profit.” (1Tim 6: 6)

PRAYER: Dear God, thank you for your goodness for us, even when we failed to be good. You were kind towards us even when we lack kindness towards others.

Today I ask you to help us exercise and grow in godliness, to help us to learn from you and imitate you, as the Apostle Paul did(1Cor 11:1). Guide us in the way of success where contentment and godliness are well demonstrated. Help us shine your light and life in the world full of darkness and greed.

I also ask you that the receiver of this message be blessed, be touched and be guide by the power of the Holy Spirit so that they will bear more fruits (Gal 5:22-23). In Jesus name, Amen.
