The disturbed King Herod, was keen to know where the Child was going to be born. Herod ordered researches and investigations. But not for good.
He wanted to avoid the new King coming with the New Kingdom. Kingdom of God was at hand. Only few were ready to welcome it. The people of Jerusalem were disturbed in support of Herod.
The disturbed king was about to reveal his frustrations in violence through murdering innocent children.
But one thing is assured, God is looking after the one He has sent. Heaven is ready to guide and provide. So the disturbed Herod will not succeed in finding the Child until such time comes when He is willing to give His life as ransom for many.
Before this appointed time comes, there are miracles to be done, healings to be administered, deads to be raised. Above all, the Gospel of salvation has to be preached to the poor! Marry Christmas!
