We, Mekane Yesus Chruch in Scotland members, are deeply saddened by the sudden departure (death) of our beloved sister Ayda Brihane (Lily) on 2nd of September 2019. Lily was one of the active, and committed member of our congregation in Glasgow and she is a sister loved by all. Lily was a young lady, who loved the Lord and loved people.
Lily was expecting her 2nd child whom she was eagerly looking forward to have before she died.
Lily’s sudden departure left us with shock and deep sadness. However, we believe, as somebody who trusted and followed Jesus, she had left us to be with the LORD.
Our prayers and thoughts are with her husband Atoshum, her two years old daughter Christianne, her families, relatives and friends.
We also would like to thank all friends from Glasgow and beyond who supported Lily’s family with their prayers and thoughts in this very difficult time.
We also appreciate your continued prayers and supports for Lily’s family and friends.
