Last Sunday in the Springburn AOG church, I found myself captivated by the repeated mention of two extraordinary names – Sharon and Adrian.
As their names, (after the name of our precious God and His Son Jesus Christ,) continued to be mentioned in the testimony, it became apparent that these two individuals are nothing short of amazing angels, sent to bless countless homes and lives with their presence. Their roles extend beyond mere individuals; they are gleam of cheer, encouragement, guidance, and continued support.
I am privileged to count myself among those who have had the honor of crossing paths and sharing lives with these remarkable souls. Spending time with Sharon and Adrian is an experience that leaves a lasting impression. Their ability to lend a listening ear, to be present in the moment, and to share their wisdom is a witness to their remarkable character.

Reading and sharing the daily verses today, I felt about the assurance we have from God.
“The one who did not spare His own Son, but offered Him as a sacrifice for all of us, surely will give us all things, along with His Son, won’t He?” (Rom 8:32).
Here the act of God, giving us His only Son, was used to build up our confidence and faith for trusting and expect from God.
I am sure we all have things we are asking for from God. I am also aware that some times God might not be willing to answer our prayers in a way we wanted.
The most important thing we learn from today’s verse is that God will surely look after us. He definitely cares for you!

¹⁶ ይህ የእናንተ ጠማምነት ነው፤ እንደ ሸክላ ሠሪ ጭቃ የምትቈጠሩ አይደላችሁምን? በውኑ ሥራ ሠሪውን፦ አልሠራኸኝም ይለዋልን? ወይስ የተደረገው አድራጊውን፦ አታስተውልም ይለዋልን?
¹⁷ ሊባኖስ እንደ ፍሬያማ እርሻ ሊለወጥ ፍሬያማውም እርሻ እንደ ዱር ሊቈጠር ጥቂት ዘመን የቀረ አይደለምን?

A messengers tells what he/she has been told to pass by the Sender.
The effectiveness of such profession or mission is measured by how accurate the message is communicated with the tones and emotions of the sender as much as possible.
When it’s a good news to pass on, the messenger is also accepted, respected and is proud.
However, nobody is exited to hear such a news as when they are told they are going to be captured or their fake gods are going to be put to shame and be terrified. The first negative reaction of the hearers is faced by the messenger.
So sometimes messengers are tempted to avoid telling ‘bad news’ or at least try to modify to make it a little bit sound. Changing terminologies are most common practice in order to ‘take heat out of the flame’. This might be important in a given social setting.

The disturbed King Herod, was keen to know where the Child was going to be born. Herod ordered researches and investigations. But not for good.
He wanted to avoid the new King coming with the New Kingdom. Kingdom of God was at hand. Only few were ready to welcome it. The people of Jerusalem were disturbed in support of Herod.
The disturbed king was about to reveal his frustrations in violence through murdering innocent children.
But one thing is assured, God is looking after the one He has sent. Heaven is ready to guide and provide. So the disturbed Herod will not succeed in finding the Child until such time comes when He is willing to give His life as ransom for many.

It is sometimes hard to even properly breath in the face of the ‘giants’ , ‘powerful’ or authoritative figures specifically when we know that they are coming against us, with their seven fold “blazing furnace” ready.
Their common threatening phrase is “I can do whatever I want to you!”The three young men we read in the book of Daniel said “our God saves!”
Do you have anything that tries to bring you down to nothing? Are you worried what is gonna happen to you next?
Tell these ‘King’ figures “My God will rescue me from your hand! ”
